Red Mountain Records Limited of Hong Kong, China, was formed in 2005 to produce, publish, and distribute quality recordings for a global audience from its Hong Kong Office & Studio’s.
In 2005, the founder of the label was frustrated that Hong Kong's production standards did not meet world-class standards.
It soon also apparent that there was no independent distribution network for overseas Artists to enter the Asian market.
The aim was to establish Hong Kong's first world class production service coupled with an Asia Distribution program to service the needs of overseas artists.
In 2006, Red Mountain Records established its distribution division to help independent Artists from overseas establish a fan-base and CD sales in Asia (www.redmountainblack.com).
Red Mountain Black Label (RMB) is the retail face of Red Mountain's Distribution and Promotion to CD Buyers and CD Stores.
Red Mountain Black Label represents many unsigned & Independent Artist members, Record Label partners, and in-house artists for physical CD distribution.
Red Mountain Records is an independent company creating new original music with an aim to build a quality catalogue of popular music with the original creativity and artistry of the 60’s and 70’s, but with a fresh edge.
We focus on the quality of our work, not on producing a large quantity.
