Hey guys. You are at the Myspace for The Electric Syndicate (we were previously known as Unleaded).
We started back in the early years of high school, playing covers of songs for school concerts and local events. Once we were mildly established we started to write our own stuff. As the three of us have gotten older, and have established our own tastes in music (some are the same, others are pretty different), we have started writing better and more complex songs. We have mixed the sounds of steady riffs and blazing guitar solos with the cool walking or crazy slapping of a double bass, as well as steady and syncopated drum rhythms.
Since the April of 2007, we began to take our band much more seriously... and it all evolved from a desperate plea from a friend. We were entered into a battle of the bands to fill up the bill only 1 week prior to the event, and managed to pull 3rd place without any rehearsals for some months! Between April and now, we've encountered a name change to "The Electric Syndicate," recorded our music (which is at present evolving into our very first EP) and played several shows, each time developing our performance skills and live show itself. We've received kudos from punters to industry professionals alike, most notably Rick Grossman (Hoodoo Guru's), Colin Burgess (ex. AC/DC, Masters Apprentices) & Denny Burgess (Masters Apprentices) who gave us their tick of approval for our performance and songwriting credibility.
T.V. & radio interviews, newspaper interviews are nothing new to T.E.S... they've been included in Blunt magazine with their song "Revolver" being on the cover cd, as well as several local newspapers. Recently, T.E.S. were the featured artist on radio program 2SSR (99.7FM) and their songs continue to be played on air. The boys are soon to be featured on local T.V. music program 'Scout T.V.' and are in discussions to be involved with a new T.V. program... more news as it comes to hand!
In the next few years there is going to be one band that takes the music world by storm... I hope we are friends with them.
