Sergio Farina is a DJ/Producer from Portugal and currently living in Switzerland. He has entered the world of House Music at an young age, where he would run of from is house at night with is friends to go to clubs and parties. Not much of a dancer he always enjoyed more seen the djs in action and listining than to be in the dancefloor dancing. From this point there was only one thing to do: become a Dj. He started taking lessons, at the time with the almost unknown Mark Voxx, now one of the greatest dj and producer in Portugal, wich, in is opinion, pointed him in a direction wich he still follows today. DJ Vibe, Pete tha Zouk, Danny Tenaglia, MAW, Erick Morillo, Dj Gregory and D.Kucho are some other references. In Portugal he played at several clubs, namely, Vaticano Club (Barcelos), Lagar..s (Braga), Swing Crash (Povoa de Lanhoso), UN (Povoa de Lanhos), Zirierf (Freiriz), Madilon (Montalegre) among others. In 2004 he moved to Switzerland where he increased his horizons in terms of performances, playing in different clubs with different people, as in house music, where he discoverd different house styles, such as minimal, minimal techno, electro and electro minimal. In Switzerland he played in Liquid (Zurich), Bowl (Affoltern am Alvis), Q Club (Zurich), Limmatbar (Zurich), Sugar Lounge (Zurich), Mad (Lausanne), MOA (Geneve), The Garden (Winterthur), PurPur (Zurich)among others. He has also participated last year in the biggest house event in Switzerlan: StreetParade (Zurich) where it gathers annualy over a million ravers. His musical style ranges from Minimal, House Vocal, Progressive House, Electro and Tribal, depending of the club and audience. Now, Dj Sergio Farina is starting to produce as well, so very soon we will see his works coming out.
