First and foremost, I'm married to a wonderful man...my prince charming, knight in shining armor...you get the point. He makes me happy and that's the important thing. We just got married at the end of May.
I'd like to call myself a writer. I write romance (preferrably historicals) but my heroines have brains. Currently, I am participating in National Novel Writing Month (www.nanowrimo.org). This is my 3rd year participating.
I sing, not professionally, although I wish. I am a first soprano and I have had classical training. It really is my top passion, even over writing. Currently, I am only singing in my choir at church and cantoring at Mass, but I hope that returning to lessons will be in the very near future. The current plan is to start back up in January if I can find a teacher. I had my choice of going on to study opera or library science. I chose library science because it would guarentee me a job. So, yes that means I'm a librarian.
I just finished my second year as a cast member with the Bristol Renaissance Faire. What an awesome blast that was! I portrayed for the second year Mistress Anne Gresham. I think it really was a life changing experience for me. I cannot wait for next season! We just recieved word that we were able to change characters for next season. We will be portraying William Sandys and Catherine Brydges, 3rd Baron and Baroness Sandys of the Vyne. I am SO excited!
I lead a pretty boring life. Most of my friends live in the Illinois area so I don't get out much. I miss hanging out with my close friends but since we are all pretty much scattered all over the globe, it makes it kind of difficult. I'm hoping that I will reunite with some of them here to bridge the gap if only slightly.
So, that's really me in a nutshell. I like to think that I'm a nice and friendly person. I like making new friends too.
