I graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory in May with a BFA is Music Theatre. Since then I have lived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Cary, North Carolina and finally I am back home in Columbia, Maryland. I am looking forward to getting into the theatre around here and teaching dance at Art of Motion dance studio in Owings Mills. I am always on the prowl for a new book. My favorite are dramatic, sappy novels. Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author and if you ever come across a book that you love just tell me about it and I'll go read it. Currently I am reading The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice. Which is being turned into a musical?!!?!? Go figure. Just goes to show they can make anything a musical now a days.
My hero is my mother. I know that sounds corny but I want to explain how amazing she is. My mom raised my sister and I pretty much all on her own. My dad left when I was 10 and Jess was 6. Leaving my mom with most of the responsibility. In my opinion, this was the best thing to happen to her. She is one of the strongest, bravest, most giving and amazing women I know. She has plowed through obstacles like they didn't exist and I hope to be just like her when I grow up!
