About Me

I am the lead vocalist for a Lee County, Florida trio called "The Hurricanes" currently performing throughout the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area. We do a combination of 50's,60's,70's,80's classic/vintage rock and roll dance music. My partners are Gary Bellaire from Ohio .....keyboards/trumpet and Johnny Ray from the Jersey Shore on saxophone. Gary has played with everybody from Jimi Hendrix,The Coasters,The Drifters, The Everly Brothers and the legendary Wayne Cochran. Johnny was a regular performer for many years up and down the Jersey Shore and all over the US. I, on the other hand, have appeared onstage with nobody famous ever............These two guys have taken me under their collective wings and got me into the entertainment business in Florida. I also owe a debt of gratitude to Ray Gordon. For it was a band Ray had that gave me the opportunity to work with these guys and other top flight musicians in SW Florida. Originally from Waukegan, Illinois , I found my way to Florida in 2000. Now , at 51, having joined the 2 ex-wives club, I find my life a lot more simple than it has ever been. My children, Ian (25) and Ashley (23) live and work in the Chicago area. They are good kids that make a living and are productive members of society.

Sarah Palin ROCKS !!!!

I thought Sarah Palins speech was brilliant. This woman is soooo not a Washington insider. I think that is just what this country needs.

Gov. Palin

Brilliant choice for McCain in choosing Gov. Palin for the VP pick. He seems to be a lot brighter than I originally thought. Well done, John !!!!

Obama the Marxist

I can't believe people are falling for the rhetoric and leftist ideals of Barrack Obama. I am not crazy about the other candidate but at least McCain doesn't hate the country he lives in. "Hope and Ch...
