3) To educate and inspire the community through the arts.OUR PROGRAMS:BEATS 2 YA FEETAn exciting community based after school program, focusing on youth ages 5-17 years old. Youth experience the exciting world of rhythm while learning the traditional art forms of Tap, Drumming, and African dance in a nurturing and supportive environment. Youth will be taken on a magical journey through time as they travel from African rhythms to jazz... from bebop to hip historically experiencing a full array of these powerful musical genres!!YOUTH JAZZ ENSEMBLEThe Youth Jazz Ensemble, is directed by Jon Michel. It is a selected group of young- talented individuals who meet ever week, learning the history and fundamentals of jazz, bebob, and the many techniques of instrumentation.NIELAH STUDIOSVisual Arts Studio and Gallery, directed by Frances Bradley. Potential art program for kids of all ages, along with private lessons.SOUNDNMOVEMENT CLASSESTap and drum classes will be held weekly. Classes range from ages 5- adults.
