About Me

Well, uh, my name is Daniel... I'm a student at UGA majoring in International Affairs. What is that you ask? Well, basically I know more about world conflict than you, so don't argue with me about it; you will lose. When I'm done with my bachelor's degree, I'm off to serve in the military as an officer. Somewhere down the line I plan on pursuing a Masters and eventually a doctorate degree, focusing on international conflict and national security. I don't know where it's all going to end up (who does) but I'd like to see myself on the beach of my own private island, soaking up the sun and sipping on a glass of bourbon thats more expensive than the enormous yacht sitting in the bay next to my hacienda. Okay so on to characteristics: I'm a hell-raising Cowboy. Conservative on politics and liberal on life. Big time sports fan, outdoor enthusiast and plunderer/pillager of small villages. I'm not afraid to speak my mind and if you get offended, I don't care. I am not a Neo-Nazi... I just prefer my head shaved, and my music Metal. That said, I'm just a sensitive guy on the inside.
Would you just look at this map?? I've got more international visitors than the US Embassy! I mean just look, I've got Spain, Ivory Coast, The Netherlands, England, Argentina, Australia, Canada, and even freakin' Japan representin!

My Interests

Military aviation, Naval warfare, international conflict, counter-terrorism, national security, weight lifting, scuba diving, fine bourbon and scotch, world travel, raucous partying/drunken singing, heavy metal, passionate debate, football, baseball... you know, the usual.

I'd like to meet:

People with ambition, aspirations and dreams. People that aren't afraid to chase those dreams.

Machine Head, Hatebreed, Deftones, Devildriver, Meshuggah, Amon Amarth, Opeth, Slipknot, Kataklysm..... you know what, just go subscribe to Sirius and then tune to channels 20 and 27. All my favorite music is there.

Braveheart, Gladiator, Boondock Saints, The Devil's Own, V for Vendetta, Fight Club, The Naked Gun, Anchorman.... to name a few

Television:

24 (oh when will it return??), The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Family Guy, No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, South Park.... that about covers it.

Books:

In between the 15+ books i have to read for school this semester, I don't have time for reading for pleasure... so stay tuned for updates.
