Born in 1978 his whole life has been related to music.When just a baby,his mother used to turn the radio on so he could sleep. At 7, he already knew groups such us KRAFTWERK, MALCON MCLAREN, REM, DEE LITE, B-52, EURYTHMICS, NINA SIMONE, BILLIE HOLIDAY, PRINCE, MILES DAVIS, JOHN COLTRANE, CHARLIE PARKER, US3, THE DOORS, WILLIE HUTCH,JAMES BROWN...thanks to D/DOS. They were in charge of the music at his father's Cafe-Pub Goldwing. He spent a lot of time with them learning to love their taste and views of music. As well as D/DOS, he enjoyed there a lot of live music such as jazz, pop... All this in someway led him towards music, and decided to go into the Conservatory to study music and playing the trumpet and drums.At 17, as a student in Granada, he joined the group "Bendir de Zafra", which merged flamenco and andalusi music from Federico GarcÃa Lorca's popular music recopilatio. They played at the Cultural Center of Motril and in the Andalusia's provincial with a very well-know flamenco "cantaor" day among others appearances.
From then on, he searched electronic music as his aim of life deeping into mixing and producing. Then BONGO ROX was born from his liason with "Estructura Soviética". They made experimental electronic music together.His career as a DJ started at "La Boheme" in 1999. Following, he was the resident DJ at "Desorden" and "sala Passion" where he was the DJ manager and worked with Kuka Morales and others. At this point in his life he decided to move to Madrid.In Madrid, he studied Sound Digital Postproduction and Video Non-lineal Edition (AVID) at CEV. He produced various things for Digital Plus and Radio Nacional de España (Radio 3). At the same time he introduced himselft in the Madrid's clubs culture in places such as Changó, Keops, Coyote, Heaven, Dust, Divino, Moma, Space...Charmed with the Alhambra and the city of Granada, Joseph decides to come back to the city to which he was in love with. He was the resident at "D'Cuadros".
He overlaps production works with mixing in different clubs all around Spain and working with different music personalities:- Miguel Lara violinist. Official violinist of "Pacha Tour"
- Sandra Lopez' solist. Singer of the "Blues Band de Granada".
- Anthony Marbel solist. Resident solist of "Opera 4 Music Club"
- Alex Chambó drummer.
- Naete. Canud. Has worked with different oriental and african bands.
- Pepe Shure solist. Flamenco Singer of "Malas juntas"
- Widi. Guitar player.Having met all these artists has lead to the formation of DEEP VIBES with the union of Miguel Lara and JL himself. This young group plays around with different styles like Oriental Chill Out, Deep House, Electronic with the collaboration of the previous artists mentioned among many others.Some of his other works are "Todo es Agua (Flamenco Mix)", "Dearkaoua (Desert Chill Mix)",and a remix of the well-known "Bésame Mucho (Alhambra's Mix)".Some of his other works during this time, have been performed at: Changó (Madrid),Coyote Lounge (Madrid),Moma (Madrid),Keops(Madrid),Dust(Madrid),La Diosa (Madrid),Heaven (Madrid),Space (Madrid/Ibiza),Divino (Madrid),Bribón de la Habana (AlmerÃa),Desafinado (Alicante),Sala Sonso (Cáceres),Puro Beach (Marbella), Granada 10 "Ministry of Sound" House Sexy (Granada),D'Cuadros (Granada), Plan-B (Melilla)...
