Sometimes there is an evolution of a new entity. The ambience is set in the solar system for the birth of a new generation. On June 19, 1965 the mood was set. While Catherine Thompson was giving birth to her baby son Ryan the stars were set into alignment with the universe to create the magic of a symphony of life.Ryan Thompson at an early age had a soul for music. The soul has continued to grow into a unique creativity of artwork. Along, with his cousin he Nickname jay, Jason William Mizell publicly known as Jam Master Jay at the age of 7 in 1972 he was spinning the turntable Mixin & Scratchin at Thear uncle club in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn where he was known as DJ.Doc. The beats continued to lead into the hip hop history as the turntables spin at all hip hop clubs in the world. He loved the beats that made the body jump around with a suave tone. He contributed his life to the craft of hip hop.In 1973 the visions of hip hop slang terminology emerged. DJ.Doc played a intricate part in the development of hip hop terminology. There was a keyword of slang he developed known as “Def”. This word is used today in many songs and labels. He played a key role in this words birth. The word was distributed in urban neighborhoods such as Brooklyn and carried it to Hollis, Queens and it traveled throughout the world.In the winter of 1982 in Brownsville Brooklyn the neighborhood changed DJ.Doc to the name DJ.Base.On June 19, 1982 He was instrumental in the involvement of the name of the well known hip hop label known as Def Jam. He is part of the history of the birth of hip hop. When the group Run-D.M.C was at it’s developing stage DJ. Base was influential in setting their landmark imagery. The unlaced shoestrings while wearing their Adidas was his idea. The group’s immaculate style of dress that he instilled was worn throughout the world. The group Run-D.M.C used DJ.Base as a muse to create songs such as “My Adidas”. in 1989 based on his DJ styling he was approached by an artist named the Real Roxanne Known for her hit's Roxanne,Roxanne and Respect, she wanted him to attend her international tour. which he agreed upon that led into a successful tour. In 1990 Jam Master Jay created his own recording label called JMJ records. At the developing stage of his company he called upon his cousin DJ.Base to become a sound engineer for his first signing group “The Afro’s”. Also, he was the reason the group called “Onyx” was signed to the label. The group sold over 2 million records. The group created a unique video that aired on MTV, BET and Video Music Box. He went on tour with rap groups such as Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Kid and Play, Digital Underground, Tupac, Kwame, Yo-Yo and Ice Cube. In 1994 JMJ records signed an artist called JAY O Felony he and DJ.BASE went on college tours with Red Man who he was the intricate part for his career with Def Jam Records. The tour also included Method Man and Flatliners a group that Russell Simmons nephew was part of.In 2000, DJ.Base branched out to create his own productions company named Base Entertainment which was a production company that search for raw talent. He has now submerged the company into Base LeveL Entertainment,inc. that will launch a reality show, a hip hop talk show and a clothing line.On October 30, 2002 DJ.Base experienced heartache along with the world of hip hop. Jam Master Jay was gun downed and murdered. On that date he lost his cousin who was his friend and inspiration. DJ.Base's drive for success is guided by his cousin’s spirit and he will continue to rock the music of hip hop.DJ.BEAR 27 year old cousin of Jam Master JayHe has been djing local parties since the age of twelve.2004-He was the DJ at The Lab.2004-2006 He was the DJ at The Grand Resort.2006 DJ at Club Attractions2007DJ Bear was the DJ at Sullivan College and MEC College Radio.
