Women of the Word is a Christian ministry at the University of Houston, which empowers women in these key areas:
1) To provide an environment for spiritual growth and fellowship
2) To strive to become virtuous women as stated in Proverbs 31 and
3) To impart spiritual resources for effective evangelism
HeLLO MYSPACE!! On behalf of all the W.O.W members, We just wanted to welcome you all to Women of the Word! God has bestowed upon us to start this new campus organization so that we can spread the beauty of His name, and help each other become closer to God. Although, we are geared towards women but we will have open bible studies for the guys every 4th Monday.
Proverbs 27:10 reads "As Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."
