S A M Y A Z A was born on the 27th day of January 2007, in an underground recording studio, in the suburbs of Casablanca, Morocco. Since that day, Samyaza has been recording many tracks of various styles but equal experimentation in what was to later become its first EP. Fourty nine days later, this reportage, entitled A Reportage Of Human Ignorance, was released. Through the Reportage, Samyaza delivered a message to the rare humans and other, more intelligent creatures, who were capable of deciphering the complex methods of cryptography and steganography used by Samyaza. The Reportage was received by many priviledged members of the underground community through the internet, and continues to spread from human to human. Samyaza spent the next month enjoying the interest certain humans expressed towards the messages in his Reportage.On the 5th day of May 2007, however, Samyaza released a second set of tracks: BHE396. This new concept EP demonstrated the other innovative composition techniques that Samyaza was able to use. The new, masked messages in this release alarmed the few humans who had the ability to understand them. Musically, this release differed the Reportage with the inclusion of electronically produced sounds and the absence of actual musical instruments. BHE396, although shorter than the Reportage, showed equal musical experimentation and crypted information.The first full-length album was released on the 29th day of May 2007, and showed a radical change in both musicality and communication techniques. After The Drone consisted of nine tracks, each representing a different part of the story it told. This first album was sent to a great number of humans in addition to those who had received the Reportage and/or BHE396. While it still contained indirect messages, the delivery of those information was encoded in a vague cypher that only humans are/will be able to break. After The Drone was recorded with a sole instrument and was not altered after recording.
On the 20th day of October 2007, a third EP, named Virtual Wall of Pain in the Depths of the Ocean , was released on the official MySpace. This record included four tracks of differing moods and meanings, some of which were out-takes from the Reportage. This EP was downloadable for free on the official MySpace page for a period of four months
S A M Y A Z A has released a second full-length album, Remote View of the Invisible, on the 21st day of December 2007. The prominent use of drones and chaos as well as the concealing of messages is, as in a portion of the previous releases, present. These fourty three minutes and eight seconds of sound waves have been released to a fraction of the inhabitants of earth as well as representatives of other worlds. Samyaza has then voyaged to the Northern territory of Kenya in order to escape the prophetic apparitions of unknown creatures on the dawn of 2008.A split CD with the Italian band Vo)))id has been recorded, and calculations predict its release to be between the beginning of March 2008 and the end of April.As always, S A M Y A Z A will be watching...
