I live in the garbage... with your common sense

About Me

This part is new. Most Myspace pages are normal, with all of the stats and tidbits on the side. Mine is set up as a band page because I normally have my music playing. I am in the creation process with my current band and will be posting music soon... anyway; I figured I'd change this part of my page. I am 24 and my birthday is January 4th. I have a dog, Daisy, who is 4. She is my best friend most of the time. I would love to give her more attention but I am often busy with work and music. I wouldn't call work "work", because I have the best job in the world; I run the mobile install bay for a national retailer. I currently have my Advanced MECP certification for mobile installation and am studying for my Master. My work life is very important to me and I try to give it 100% when I am punched in. Most of all, I like to laugh; hang out with friends and family and meet new people. If life isn't fun it's not worth being here! If you spend 100% of your effort on "the task" and not on any of the people around you; you'll never be happy. I like to try keeping my focus somewhere in between the task and the people - a nice center.
I am getting to the point in my life where my friends are starting their lives and I don't see them as much anymore. It is an ongoing process that gets worse every year. Personally; I am making room for someone else... just haven't found the right lady yet. I keep getting girls who need help and carry drama; when I need a woman who is independant and fun. I am very patient though. I am sure it will happen and I'm not too picky when.
Old stuff... I am a disc golf addict. I play every day... or at least every other day [I mean, sometimes it rains :(] I only use Innova discs and gear... anything else is only as good as second best. I mostly use Champion and Star line discs... Ashley, John, Paul and Patty, Duke and Danielle and Frank are my usual partners... but if you play you should get a hold of me because the bigger the group the more fun!
Saving the best for last... I love my family and friends more than anything I could possibly own. My mother and stepfather... their families. My sisters Sara and Leah... my "new" sister Amy who I missed even though I never met her... brother-in-laws Kris and Matt. My father and stepmother. The White family in all of the states they occupy... All of my friends back home; Cliffy, Jeremy, Nathan, Medicated Mike, Londo and Crystal, Cathy, Jez, John M., Matt, Lunchbox, Matt. I hated Battle Creek when I moved here. I've been here for two years now and I have to thank some special people for making this my new home. Ashley and her family... Jeff and Danielle, Deb Sheppard, All the people at Best Buy, My producer and friend Ryan Hudson, Matt Dolinar, everyone at westmichiganmusic, Jim Dokurno, Paul Uldriks, Crazy Dave, Daisy my four legged heating blanket, Eban Mackey, Elliot Travis, Justin Starks, Cody, Kayla Miller , Kayla Dunn, Lee, Paul Wetzel, Nick Lester, Jaime Rodriguez, Kelsey Travis :), B-Haan, Darkness, Emily, Logan and Marley, Amber, Will and Jon from Mobile, Nathan and Monica You guys all rock my socks! If I forgot someone, please let me know so I can add them/you.If we could find something good in everyone we meet, we could change the world. Smash the crappy soap-opera crap and compliment someone in every conversation you have... it builds your character ethic and makes you more tolerable to others. I was watching Pay it Forward the other day... What a great concept! If you haven't watched that movie you should... yes; it's a bit sappy but it has a great message! Peace! Take care of your pets!

People have been asking me to re-post this video and since the band is broken up... here it is! These were fun times... the best part is the random chick screaming "We love you Josh". Hope you are all happy now. Lies at the Riverside

Owning yourself

I think that the only way to be happy is to take ownership of your problems. Unhappy people will always gripe, point fingers, and have an apathetic/hopeless attitude. They depend on others to do eve...

My philosophy on music, and the band unit of musicians

Being a musician isn't about what equipment you have, or how long you've been playing.  It's not about how "good"  you are or how many fans you have.  It's about connecting the music in...
