MUSIC of all kinds.... playing it (keys) singing it (loudly, especially in the car and shower) I love to read, travel, go to the gym, and getting together with friends. You can check out a couple of my songs at http://www.myspace.com/rebekahrogers I like shopping, making money, fall afternoons, when the sun is hot and the wind is cold, and sitting outside to eat my breakfast and drink hot tea (although this never happens because I hate to wake up any earlier than I have to!) I love God with all my heart, keep my family as a top priority, and can't wait to help my husband finish school! (No, I do not write his reports.... yes I do) I like going to movies and hanging out with my brother and sister in law (especially when she talks like Sid the Sloth and I try to copy her)

My parents truly are heroes to me. Over the past 30 years, they have toughed out a life of love and ministry together, surpassing the cultural norm, and the expectations of our society. I have witnessed tears of joy, as when one lost soul finds peace in the love of Jesus, and tears of pain, when church politics and backbiting hurt the people who serve and sacrifice the most. Not only have they survived the fray, but they have managed to pass on the same determination to both of their children. They put up with a lot, and yet are still able to sit back and allow God to deal with every disappointment in His own time and His own way. I admire them beyond measure, and pray that I, too, will have that same spirit. My new husband is also truly heroic to me... not just because he puts up with all sides of 'Bekah,' but because he loves me for who I am, and is dedicated to making me holy, like God is holy.
