About Me

I'm a East Coast transplant to SF from years ago and still love it here. I play and listen to lots of different music (guitar, bass, trombone; some rock/indy, jazz--though I'm not an expert, electronic but I can't endure the same trance beat over and over and over, 20th century classical.) I'm also into politics (left, commie, anarchist, radical nationalist, indigenist, etc.)
I read books (see below), am interested in other countries and cultures, languages, history (see: politics), and being outside--either bicycling, hiking, or just roaming around SF. I do some yoga, some martial arts, and a little pilates (no, really.) I like traveling but try to do so in a way that's conscious about neo-colonialism and cultural appropriation....if that's possible(?)
My friend told me about this cheesy survey:
You Are 4% Capitalist, 96% Socialist
You see a lot of injustice in the world, and you'd like to see it fixed.
As far as you're concerned, all the wrong people have the power.
You're strongly in favor of the redistribution of wealth - and more protection for the average person. Are You a Socialist or Capitalist?
It's basically a bunch of yes or no questions-- virtually all of them pro-market bullshit. I only answered yes to "Prostitution should be completely legal," and am therefore 4% Capitalist(?) If not wanting more women thrown in jail for having limited work options makes me 4% capitalist, well...

My Interests

Here's a 7 minute video of the mad fun we had on Halloween, parading through our neighborhood, the Mission District. In case you can't tell, I'm Inspector Gadget. Somehow, I didn't realize that someone was standing behind me with the camera.

2) Moliendo Cafe (Hugo Blanco) (with my silly solo)
