THAT WILL MAKE YOUR EYES BLEED TOPPED OFF WITH EVIL TALES OF DISILLUSIONMENT!!!
Quotes For Thought:
After Dark have come stomping out of the
 gate to pulverize
the opposition with their
fiery brand of molten horror. Displaying a shameless love for all things heavy, groovy, and scary...
--- Will Schwartz of HMAS.ORG
It's definitely a band you'll want to hear in a smoke-filled barwith your devil horns raised high in one hand and a cold beer in the other.
--- Pete Altieri - Heavycore www.heavycore.org
"NYCs After Dark burst forth with blistering sludge on their debut
EP, The Resurrection. The sound is not unlike a sped-up Crowbar, or perhaps what Cathedral might be if they spent the last decade eating porcupines and mainlining bovine growth hormones. Guitars come off thick and chunky, and through the five tracks the band changes up the approach enough to make each song both memorable and discernable from the last, something which the NYC scene needs even more than it needs
kickass female drummers, which is plenty.

"...the press sheet may be doing them no favors ...this material is better than the majority of Danzig and White Zombie’s material...
seriously heavy but remarkably catchy at the same time (no mean feat that) "

Like a bunch of over-sized zombies that were resurrected with their blue collars on, After Dark like to keep it simple, heavy, and evil."

The first thing I noticed about this band was that they are everything that traditional metal is lacking...originality! -- Heather - Adrenalinfanzine.com
The whole production is completely professional, with a strong, solid sound and a simple but pretty nice artwork. “The Resurrection†is a solid debut, full of good ideas, heaviness, groove and tons of attitude… definitely a good work. (AP) - Alvaro - Burning Black Webzine
A modern, American metal band that doesn't play metalcore? Brilliant!
