If you were to look up the records of one Christopher Swanson, you would find he never existed. You would see no birth record, no school transcripts, no newspaper headings, nothing. If you were to ask enough people in the Science Sector, however, you'd get a different story. Ten years ago, graduating senior Chris was the talk of the neighborhood. His grades were high, his athletic ability enormous, and his ambition great. He had all the qualities to succeed in life, and that's why his civilian life ended. The offers poured in: Dollarcorp saw him as a new Special Forces recruit. The SLJ had been looking for rookies to train for ground troops. The Reavers wanted a young squad leader, and the Syndicate always needs a quick witted, fleet footed smuggler. The winning bidder, however, was the KIA, Khazanian Intelligence Agency. The need for special operatives in Khazan often goes understated; with the often subtle warfare between the "heroes" and "villains," a government mediator must be equipped with the best information on all fronts. The notion of spying for Khazan's greater good appealed to the young Chris Swanson, who gladly joined the KIA in its mission. The training was intensive; six months of typical military boot camp followed by four years of more specialized work. His brain would not worry about geometry or Latin; he had to understand interorganizational relations and typical security systems to survive. Shooting was practiced, but not near as much as his need to learn hand-to-hand and knife fighting for the in close advantage. Most importantly, he developed a sense of how not to be seen without what most would see as a disguise. Now, almost six years later, the training has paid off greatly. Chris is unknown, but his actions in numerous situations have prevented Khazan from breaking out into civil war. He gets in, he gets the info, and he gets out. And, if it's a really good night, he doesn't even bother attacking. Chris Swanson died in boot camp. Now, there is only Agent 9, KIA Spec Ops.VIVA THE KIA!
