Born July 10, 1980, European native Dennis Nowak may be young in age but certainly not in knowledge and experience. Since the age of four when his father made a make shift drum set out of soap boxes, pots, pans and broom sticks Dennis has been diligently perfecting his craft, and developing his own unique style of drumming.
Partnered with his technical knowledge (a Masters degree in Music performance and conducting) and his practical knowledge Dennis has become one of the most sought after independent musicians.
Initially Dennis started off playing with Big Bands, Symphonic Orchestras, several rock and pop bands and musicals. While graduating he already played more than 100 shows a year, among many others with "The Frame", a top-40 cover band that was signed as the main act from the biggest private radio-station in south germany, Radio Regenbogen. Although these experiences helped to mold him as a musician; Dennis felt the need to expand his musical horizons and move on to more contemporary genres of music. Shortly after graduating Dennis was asked by the lead singer of one of Germanys most popular underground bands called "The Plastics" to become the bands new drummer.
Although Trash Pop was nothing Dennis was accustomed to playing he jumped at the opportunity to learn any new means of creative expression. One night after a show the manager of world renowned gospel group "The Jackson Singers" approached him and immediately signed Dennis to the groups touring company. Although Dennis was the youngest of the group, he stepped up to the plate and proved to be a tremendous asset to the group. Now Dennis was ready to step into the limelight. He has since worked with such celebrities as "The Weather Girls", "The Voice" Joan Faulkner, Felicia Taylor, Christina Jaccard, KEM, Robin DaSilva, and collaborated on several projects with Jonathan Royal (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Janet Jackson's Musical director).
So with a good bit of each genre of music under his belt, he has found his own receipe for success. Starting it off with eloquence, a little style, a pinch of swing, a good bit of funk, a whole lot of heart, then top it off with the sweet rhythm of life.Experience the talent of Dennis Nowak.
