About Me

mayhew formed through a series of chance encounters.
After a year's songwriting and hard work, their sound is becoming compelling and accomplished. They aim to make their songs unique through the technical interplay of classical and folk guitars, inventive cello parts, percussive flourishes and distinctive vocals and lyrics.
mayhew are now performing live and have completed their first demo with a complete lineup. They plan to record an EP later in 2009.

"Words can’t describe such a full and beautiful sound and how much of an impact this particular combination of folk, classical and ambient rock melodies can have...A band that everyone needs to see."
