About Me

A 24 year graduate student in engineering. Not sure what to do next. I hope to get my Master's in the spring of 09. I enjoy music. I like to experiment with differnet genres, but whatever comes out comes out sometimes. I would like to be recorded by a professional, have a pedal steel guitar, and an electronic drum kit. I regularly play a dobro, lap steel, acoustic, 7 string guitar, 6 string bass, drum programming, mandolin, banjo, nylon string guitar, and harmonica. I recently purchased an appalachian dulcimer. Im kind of a jack of all and master of none.I have released two albums through the internet. I have mixed and mastered them myself. I have learned that it is an art and I am sure a professional can do it much better, but I am not sure if i will get the chance to work with a professional, so I learn to do it myself (and learn as I go.)I haven't worked with other musicians on my 2 albums , but I do let close friends hear the product before I decide if I completely like the track or not.I would LOVE to collaborate with other musicians. There are many capable ones out there,(much better than me.)I received a Bachelor's in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in the Summer of 07.I 've taken music lessons and really enjoy them. I have a hard time reading music quickly( still working on that.)I come from a small town in Alabama that is known for the races. I also have spent a good amount of time in Tuscaloosa, Al.(Roll Tide!!!) ..
