About Me

My friends have been hounding me to join MySpace, so here I am (somewhat reluctantly). What I find funny is how so many people were pestering me to do this and then once I did...where are all of them? I think it's a conspiracy.
I'm currently writing a book about Peoples Temple and Jonestown and wherever I go I'm hitting people up for resources. So if you've ever found something interesting about Peoples Temple please let me know! It's not my foremost project right now but I am still working on it.

tingshas and hand drums

I went to a therapy group today that's called Cognitive Behavior and Emotional Alchemy. The group facilitator comes in with hand drums and tingshas and I thought to myself, 'oh dear God, it's li...

skin

Our bodies can both define and limit us. Often times people wage wars against their own body. We forget its sacredness and its ability to heal our soul and mind.   Our skin is our largest organ. ...

My medication stopped working recently. I can't pinpoint when exactly but it was within the past two weeks. I take a dip about once a month and I've learned to roll with it. I don't like it and obviou...

stupid fake Thanksgiving

Call me an idiot (please, do!) but I thought that Thanksgiving was always the last Thursday in November. That made sense to me. But oh no, it is in fact the fourth Thursday of November which most of t...

There is something deeply disturbing about being threatened by a person that you never could have imagined would do such a thing.   There are of course those that we expect it from. They're roug...

uncomplicated?

This was supposed to be my uncomplicated year. Yet it has somehow become an incredibly complex and messy one. Really I have only myself to blame. I got myself in complex and messy situations and then ...
