THREAD started as a result of several displaced musicians meeting one another by chance.Thread is a Pop 40 – alternative Rock band playing the Genre's favorites from the Fifties to today. Taking advantage of the "Shuffle Button" technique the band is able to reach a more diverse audience enabling Thread to play a wider range of venues. Thread uses state of the art equipment with the employment of the Bose PS-1 sound system that uses a new Radiator Technology that fills the room with higher quality sounds at lower volumes, simply the equipment is just more efficient than prior analogue set ups.Thread consists of four members:Jesse 'Yahshey' Macom-Teague: Vocals and LyricsHenry Cook: PercussionAaron Prieur: Bass and RhythmMark 'Baus' Ensminger: Lead Guitar, 2nd Vocals, and LyricsThe Goal of the Group is to work full time within the music industry. Thread has various set ups depending on the venue. We are capable of playing two or three person acoustic shows as well as playing in larger venues with the full band; again the goal is to work full time.Thread being a working band plays covers as well as originals written in our own modern style. This band has worked very hard to create options and prepare for the opportunities that may present themselves in the fast paced world of live entertainment. We have the capability of playing four to five hours of cover music or playing solid original sets, we feel our diversity allows us to cover all the bases and provide the listener with a professional and enjoyable experience.Thread has played in such venues as: Revolution Room Little Rock, AR, Isle of Capri Casinos ( on Contract) Lula, MS, Counter Point Levy AR, Grumpies Too Little Rock, AR, Under Ground Pub Little Rock, AR, My Friends Place N. Little Rock, AR, Various Battle of the Bands AR and MS,Also many local festivals and events thru out the state.We are influenced by many Bands, Artists and Composers from all eras.
