ARIF…THE MAN OF MANY FACESArif Fahim (aka “DJ Smooth”) is a Chicago native currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Engineer professional by day, Arif, tackles the World of Steppin’ by night. He demonstrates his respect and passion for the art of steppin’ in his personal execution of the dance along with his hands-on approach and commitment in teaching various steppin’ techniques to his students. His joy is derived from the progression of his students as they become proficient and confident in the art of steppin’. Arif has been steppin’ for over five years and has taken instruction from some of Chicago’s most renowned instructors such as L.C. Henderson, Tic Man, Andre "Dre" Blackwell, Claudell Jackson, Ronneal “Moe” Muhammad, Keith Hubbard, Brian Patterson to name a few.
