About Me

Well, I graduated from WLU in Waterloo in the spring with my double major in English and Communication Studies with a minor in Women's Studies. Now, I'm pursuing a career in... well... I'm not sure yet! I've been hired on in a call centre, oh such a glamorous job, but its a start.I have a 12 year old Golden Retriever name Rufus who is the smartest dog I've ever met. I'm sure he thinks he's human.I'm in a new relationship - unexpected but absolutely wonderful! I'm still planning on doing all the things in life that I've made a priority. I'm looking forward to enjoying life in every way possible including travelling, learning to play the guitar, catching up reading all the books I want, spending days in front of the tv watching MY movies, making jewellry, and so much more.Myspace Graphics

My Interests

Music, reading, cuddling, long hot bubble baths, fresh oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, movies, new fallen snow, warm fires, long talks with understanding people, sleeping in, cuddly blankets, dogs, hedgehogs, a good book, family, friends, long drives in the country, camping, star-gazing on the shore of Lake Superior, learning...

Music:

My musical tastes vary. I like everything in moderation, even some - I stress SOME - new country. My favourite bands include: Dave Matthews Band, Tragically Hip, Jimmy Eat World, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Live, Smashing Pumpkins, Our Lady Peace, BB King, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel, Elton John, and SO many more.

Movies:

I love movies of all types. The only ones I avoid are thrillers, because, well, I'm a bit of a chicken. I like old Marilyn Monroe movies. I like Adam Sandler Movies. Some of my favourite movies include: Run Lola Run, Seven, Star Wars (the ones from the 70's) Lord of the Rings, Mists of Avalon, Bram Stokers Dracula, Girl Interrupted, Original Sin...

Television:

Well, I like the Jerry Bruckheimer stuff, but not CSI NY. The original CSI with Grissom and the gang is still the best. I like medical dramas like ER and House. I dont tend to watch a lot of TV and pick what I watch with care.

Books:

The Mists of Avalon is my all time favourite novel. I enjoy a variety of genres but tend to stick with fantasy plots. I like a lot of action and strong female characters. Prozac Nation is an awesome book that really touched on my life. I like the Arthurian legends, midieval history, and fictionalized history like Diana Gabaldon. I read A LOT and will try anything once, lol.
