About Me

We were created in the beginning to be perfect without blemish by a living, breathing, all powerful, perfect loving God. Through Adam and Even sin came into the world and seperated us from God. This seperation is the source of all our pain and strife. We were created to worship and when we don't recognize God as the object of our worship we worship other things because it is in our created nature to worship. Then we become slaves to things. It is in our nature to be defined by something outside of ourselves. That something is God and when we don't let God identify us we find other people to do it and that leads to identity crisis. Knowing the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Knowing Jesus and what he did on the cross for us acknowleging it and trying to follow Christ does not taking us away from reality and truth it takes us closer to it. Knowing Jesus and becoming more like Him is becoming more how we were created to be, it is becoming more ourselves, not less ourselves. The God of the Bible and what Jesus did for us is the answer to the cries of our souls. The cry that sometimes we don't even know is there. God created us to work a certain way and function a certain way and when sin came into the world everything got knocked out of joint; the earth, our bodies, our souls everything and God has spent thousands of years chasing us and trying to bring us back to Him and trying to heal us and restore us to what we are supposed to be. First with His promises to His people, the Israelites and Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David. Then He sent Jesus to all people for all times. God wants you desperately. He wants to restore you and give you back your broken years. He wants you to love Him and worship Him. He wants to Love you and hold you in the palm of His Hand. God is not a piece of wood or stone that just wants you to follow a set of rules and go through excercises like the Gods of Greek mythology. He is not cruel and arbitrary. He is alive, and breathing. He has a personality and a heart. He wants you to know Him. He wants You. He wants YOu. That is the most beautiful thing in the world. The great unfathomable God that controls everyhting and has made everything wants You.
