About Me
Marco began his musical journey in Baja California, Mexico at the young age of 13
playing piano.
By the age of 19 he moved to L.A and shortly after Mexico city to study under the guidance of diferent teachers such as Miguel Villicania and many more.
After his long early journey marco started his professional career.
He is well educated in all types of latin music and his versatility
ranges anywhere from rock, jazz, r&b,gospel, funk, hiphop ect.He’s performed and or recorded with artists such as:
Yuri (vive la historia project)
Crystal Lewis (acclaimed singer/songwriter and multi-dove award winner),
Alvaro Lopez (Best producer in 2004 Premios Arpa Awards, Holds the Guinnes World Record of longest drum solo, and Grammy Nominee)
Kiko Cibrian (ex guitar player y musuical director of Luis Miguel)
Abraham Laboriel (One of the most known bass players in the world, performing and recording with such jazz and fusion luminaries as Vinnie Colauta, George Benson, Ella Fitzgerald, Herbie Hancock and Joe Pass, pop names like Aretha Franklin, Michael jackson ect.
Luis Conte (world class percussionist, played with Eros Ramazotti, Madona, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, and many more artist in different genres.
Gabe Terrado, (Leony Richie music director)
and many more..Now Marco finds himself working with Alvaro Lopez in Bemol Records as a session artist and colaborating in sessions for artist such as Torre Fuerte, Resqband, and some of the biggest artist in Central and Latin America. He also tours with Alvaro Lopez and Res-Q band as their Pianist.
