About Me

To contact me [email protected]
I'm a typcial down to earth Yorkshireman, and true to myself person. I try not to be too serious and enjoy a good laugh in life. I can be contemplative and deep thinking, I never let anything get the better of me. I wear my heart on my sleeve and say what I mean. What you see is what you get with me. I make no pretence to who I am. If you like me then fine, If you don't, then I don't give a hoot!! I also like these genuine attributes in other people. I simply do not have time for false, and negative people in this world.
Life is too short, and you should make the most of it while your here!

I'm fascinated by the heavy engineering of the Victorian era. The mamoth construction of the railways and canals. These fed the ever hungry mouth of the Industrial revolution that shaped our world today. These construction feats still stand as a lasting legacy, and testament to the men who built them. I feel it is a shame when the hard work gone in to building them has been left to decay. There can be a sad beauty in photographing these places. I have very little time for modernisation, It is mostly plastic and lacking any real character, It very rarely stands the test of time.
I hope some of my photographs will prove to be a positive collection of images for future generations to come.
