To realize that there is something deeper than ourselves and our own fleeting concerns. To see that there is still mystery and wonder in a world that seems to have it all figured out. To find peace in simplicity, and solace in a promise.
My music, my expression. , is fueled by these tickets to freedom. I aim to meet people where they are at, embracing brokenness with hope.
Its also a call.
Its a call to escape the millions of media messages that say: buy this, look like that, you need this. No, Im not trying to be the countercultural guy that is bent on warring against the advertising industry. Im just giving a shout for stillness in the midst of it all.
