Hello, I'm Jeremy aka mystery menace, a 23 year old emcee, musician, manager,promoter, A&R and founder of 47 Halsey Entertainment. Now to tell you a little bit about my life and why I'm doing what I'm doing. I started out at 11 years old as a poet after I has lost my father due to a tradgic car wreck in Seattle, Washington. I needed a way to release my hurt and pain and anger from losing him, so I started taking martial arts and self desfense from a well known martial artist/mentor by the name of Sam Price. Price taught me how to channel my feelings and told me to write down how I felt instead of taking those feelings out on someone or something else. So I began writing pretty much every other day, cause at 11 years old or any age for that matter, losing a parent is never easy. I took my fathers death pretty hard and will admit that I still hurt to this day. Anyhow I wrote and wrote for the next 8 or so years when finally at 18 I met a couple very talented emcee's/ hip hop artist's, Jamil Mustafa and Keon Logan aka Moody Loc da Moody Assasin. These 2 musicians helped me realize that the whole time I had been writing,I had been writing poetry and they taught me how to turn poetry into hip hop lyrics. So I worked with Logan and Mustafa for quite sometime, learning about kick's, snare's, drums, hit hats, 808's, 16 bars, chorus's the whole 9 yards. About 8 months or so after I learned it all, I began writing my own songs which 6 months or so later I wrote and recorded my very first Demo "Microphone Menace" it didn't do so well as far as sells go, but it gave me experience for the next demo or album. I continued to learn about music and recorded a song here and there, started traveling around other states near my home state, growing and learning, making mistakes and slowly finding myself, who was I suppose to be, what was I suppose to be? About a year or so ago, I hit a spot where I had no job, no car, no money nor a place to call home. I moved in with Jamil Mustafa for awhile then realized how am I going to make my dream become a reality? Well I took a little break from music because I still really needed to get my life on track and figure out just who I was and what the hell needed to happen. I kept watching all these rappers and hip hop artist's and country artist's and musicians off all sorts and started asking myself, what is it we as musicians have in common? We all want to get signed to a major label! Now I looked up and still do look up to Eminem, Dr. Dre ,The Game and Tech N9ne alot, they have made huge success in their lives. They all own their own labels so I figure why can't I. Why can't I give other artist's what they've all wanted so badly. Then I figured why not go a step further and do a label with musicians, singers and models? So I did it. I Started up 47 Halsey Entertainment. I got the idea for the label name from my child hood home. The street and house number. There in that house and on that street is where alot of drama and excitement went on. Many things went on inside that house that made me who I am today, helped me to change my life and do better than what I was taught. Halsey Street was a street where so many block parties and police chases and other crazy times went on. It all just makes me the better person I am today, if I hadn't gone through those experiences in life, I may not be doing this now! So that's where I got the name 47 Halsey Entertainment. Now what is 47 Halsey Entertainment exactly? Well 47 Halsey Entertaiment is a music/modeling label that works with talented individuals who want a career in modeling or singing. Some people even do both at the same time. What 47 Halsey Entertainment does, is gives those people who have a well shaped body and/or an amazing voice an opportunity to get seen and heard. Currently this label is working with some top noche companies to get its models and singers and musicians heard and recognized and get them careers in what they've been dreaming of doing. Whether it be on sound tracks, movies, commericals, live performances etc.. this label focuses on turning peoples dreams into realities.
