About Me
Intelligent has always been funny. George Carlin, Dennis Miller, and Chris Rock continually dazzle us with their brave opinions, and acute observations of politics, social issues, and things that are just plain wrong in America. G Reilly is one of those comedians. The New York native and Desert Storm veteran has been entertaining audiences for years with his quick wit and uncanny story telling ability. "G has Chris Rock type talent mixed with Jerry Seinfeld caliber of intellect," says Don Allen of Conquest Entertainment. Allen went on to say, "I think G Reilly is a bomb waiting to go off in this business. He is hysterically funny every time I see him and others are talking about him." Others are, indeed, talking. "When I saw him at the Ice House in Pasadena, he (G Reilly) was by far he best comedian of the night," explains SirComedy.com President Jeremy Clendening. Clendening is constantly sizing up comedians. "His bit on his son making mistakes is some of the best stuff I've seen in LA," says Clendening. G Reilly performs at every major club in Los Angeles and it's just a matter of time before something big happens.
He has already been seen on BET's "Comic View," "Loco Comedy Jam," and "Latino Laugh Festival the Show." Well known comedian Pablo Francisco, who hosted "Latino Laugh Festival the Show," was very impressed with Reilly. "G has great energy, superb writing skills, and terrific stage presence," raves Francisco. Gabriel Iglesias, John Camponera, Willie Barcena, and Ralphie May of "Last Comic Standing" fame are just a few big names that G Reilly has shared the stage with recently.
G Reilly, himself, takes pride in having an array of arsenal in his comedy. "I rely on my ability to read an audience," says Reilly. This is a great supplement to his already outstanding writing skills and creativity that G is known for around the industry. "It's his all-around skills that will take him to the top in this Business, says Clyde Banfield, who books the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, CA.
So what is next for G Reilly? "I would love to continue traveling around the country doing comedy and land more national television roles," says Reilly. Evan Beckenstein of Blue Star Entertainment feels that television is an inevitable move for G Reilly. "I can definitely see him in a sitcom or anchoring a program as a show host," says Beckenstein who says he has seen Reilly on several occasions. It is certain that the hard work and natural talent is going to pay off. Stay tuned for more on G Reilly!
