The Akron Paranormal Society was founded on October 13, 2007, by John Albrecht Jr. Having had a paranormal experience in 2001, John was fascinated by the possibility of ghosts and paranormal phenomena. He began to hunt for answers. While searching for the truth, he joined many local paranormal groups, but most of the groups weren't as serious as they claimed. After feeling let down and having unanswered questions, John created APS.
APS goes into an investigation using science. We attempt to disprove a haunting rather than to prove it.
