The Forge is a professional recording studio situated in the historic North Shropshire market town of Oswestry.The studio is located just off the town centre high street in a original 18th century buiding, sufficiently secluded to allow clients as much privacy as they require. There is a private secure car park at the front of the building.
The studio was professionally designed and has natural daylight. The control room is based around a 24 Input / Output Digidesign Pro-Tools Mix 24 system integrated into a Tube-Tech SSA2A (Summing Amp). For tracking, Tube-Tech MP-1A mic pre amps are used with the addition of a 8channel CLM DB8000 Mic pre, the console, a 52 channel Mackie can also be used. Outboard dynamics come from Tube-Tech, Manley, UREI, CLM, SPL Effect processors are Lexicon, Yamaha, T.C Electronic. Main monitors, Dynaudio acoustic M3, nearfield monitors Yamaha NS10. Microphones from Neumann, Royer, AKG, Audio Technica, Shure and Pearl.
Good size live room, also professionally designed, great for tracking drums. Two small iso-booths for guitar and bass amps makes it perfect for tracking full band simultaneously.
