The Brewskies were beaten 5.0 tonight against the underfeated highflying rep based players of Newcaslte tonight.
The loss ended any chance the Brewskies had of winning the grand final.
It only took a few minutes into the match were 2 goal keeping blunders handed The Snipers 2 early goals and by half time it was 3.
Both Bell and Parkes had chances but couldnt convert and it cost them in the end going down 5.0
After the full time whistle it was rather accompishment going around rather then dissapointment due to the boys making the top 4 instead of coming last every season
The boys were great all year around but unfortunitly they could not get a win in there last 4 games.
A big shoutout to all our players especially the ones who know the club wouldnt have made it this far if it wasent for them.
Well done boys.
The Grand Final
It was a showdown between IUFC who had earlier beaten The Wizards 5.1 against The snipers who had previously beaten Brewskies Fc 5.0.
Both teams had rep players in them but The Snipers were marginally slight favourites heading into the match, but It wasent to be the IUFC boys showed there full potential and won the match 4.1
Wraping up on the history making season, well done to all the boys that played. Rippon,Patterson,Bell,Parkes,Smith Watters, Pete Loz & Foxy.
Tune it again in 2009 where the boys will hope to go one step further by making it to the Grand Final and hopefully winning the title
Until Next Season, Brewskies Out
BIGGEST MOMENT IN THE CLUBS HISTORY
This Friday Night:
Should they win: The boys are playing MAJOR rivals IUFC on the final day of the season this friday at 6.30pm
If the Brewskies can break there poor form and beat IUFC which they did amazingly earlier in the season 2.1, they will be in the Semis ( finish 4th )
Should they loose: If the Brewskies lost or drew this friday which is a huge possibility they would have to depend on the Yowellies ( 1 point behind them ) to LOOSE NOT draw( due to a better goal difference ) against The Wizards.
Tension is massively building for this fridays game.
Note - Julian & Pete are still injured and are almost certain to miss this weeks game.
Lewis Drinkwater is still indefinatly dropped from the side
Brewskies may need to get someone from there youth academy if Julian & Pete are out.
Likely Line Up and what each player will need to do if they want to make it!
Michael Rippon ( will need to keep the motivation going )
Tom Patterson ( Will need to keep his amazing ability in defence going like he has all year )
Michael Bell ( Can hopefully add to his 5 consecutive goals and keep up the goal scoring run
Heath Parkes ( The clubs marque will need to snap his goal scoring draught of 5 games, it wasent until last time did we play IUFC did Parkes score to win 2.1 )
Mitcho Fox ( Will need to keep his great ability in goals in touch )
Unknown ( will need to step up )

Despite being thumped 6.1 by magor rivals IUFC the boys in black will play semi final indoor due to yowellies getting beat by the wizards fc
The game was a fierce one, physical and verbal abuse was common and D.Saz was red carded after a studs to the head against H.Parkes the game had alot of heated decisions with a controversial goal by M.Bell after the siren has not yet been cleared whether it will stand or not.
Patterson to a knock and is in doubt for next week which will be a major loss to the Brewskies FC.
The boys will need to get back on track if they want any chance of beating the snipers after loosing 3 straight games.

The Brewskies management are appealing for a night game next friday
Match Analysis
The 4pm kick off meant it was going to be tough on the field once again T.Patterson was again solid in the backs with Heath parkes playing a well attacking mid role along side pete in the mids.
M.Rippon once again showed good encouragement and played with his heart on his sleave while M.Bell slotted 2 nicely finished goals one rebound and another one sent as a through ball from H.Parkes for Bell to finish with his left foot
M.Fox tried his heart and played to his best but at the end of the day The Snipers were just too strong.
Conditions - Hot
Attendance - 8067
Brewskies FC V The Snipers FC
The Brewskies have a heave tough task this friday when they take on fellow classmates who have won everysingle game convincingly this season and have not lost a match in over 2 years
The boys know it's going to be a mammath task but after beating IUFC earlier in the season anything can happen Tom Patterson said today in a pre-match press conference
After the poorness of the decision of the ref last week denying the Brewskies there 5th win of the season he has been sacked by the FA and the brewskies will now be reffed by Kelly in this weeks top of the table encounter
Brewskies Furious After A Blatant goal was Dissallowed
The Brewskies were left fuming tonight after many missed oportunites and a goal that was disallowed that went straight down the middle of the goal but the ref thought otherwise instead saying " It hit the side netting and went through "
After the match even the other team new they were lucky to escape
Arguments were flying after the match to the ref
M.Bell has stated " Im 150% it was a goal, It's an absoulte joke. I could say more but I dont want to get what will be handed down with it"
The Brewskies definatly should have won with many missed oportunites in front of goal from both teams but at the end of the day the match will be written down as a 1.1 draw
Julian was on the goal sheet and also was unlucky hitting the bar in the match, with Mitcho getting his first ever goal for the club dissallowed through a terrible decsion
The Brewskies remain underfeated for the season
Man Of The Match - The ref
Brewskies take on Yowellies this week
The Brewskies will be hoping to keep there underfeated run going to 6 games against the high flying Yowelles in tomorrow afternoons game.. Kick Off 5pm.
Brewskies Pull Off A Halloween Special To Win 2.1
The Brewskies beat there fellow classmates in a 2.1 victory, Pete and Bell were on the scoresheet.
Brewskies were up 2.0 but then the opposition clawed 1 goal back and began dominating the game luckily the boys held onto the 3 points
The conditions were terrible and the game wasent much better either, an early 4:30 pm kick off and in 36 degree heat that didnt do anything to help the cause.
The boys remain underfeated this season
The Brewskies have had a dissapointing 1.1 draw with Pete Fc tonight, With the likes of Parkes and Bell missing the boys just could no manage a win
The boys will be hoping to get back to there winning ways next week as they will have a full stength team
