If you were to ask my friends to describe me, they would most likely say that I am friendly, happy, and easy going, but when I am racing I am competitive, driven, and focused, and of course still friendly.
If you ask my wife, she would say that I am addicted to video games and I like junk food. I don't eat that much junk food.
I've been playing video games since I got my Atari 2600 in 1979. I have been involved in many different video game competitions including the Nintendo PowerFest and I have been racing virtual NASCAR since 1998. I am currently competing on Project Gotham Racing 3 for Xbox 360 in the World Cyber Games , for which I have qualified to the U.S. Finals in September, and the Championship Gaming Series whose inaugural event took place in July 2006 and is currently being televised daily on DirecTV channel 101. I'm preparing now for the Championship Gaming Series Combine and Draft for the 2007 season which will be taking place in early June 2007. The Draft will be broadcast live from the CGS website on the evening of Tuesday, June 12th.
When I am not racing, I am usually playing board games (my second passion). Once every other month I rent a hall in my city and bring a small serving of my board game collection (currently around 400) to play with friends. We play between 14 and 16 hours straight.
Besides video games and board games, I also enjoy numbers. I am an accountant by day and a sudoku puzzler by night.
I am happily married to my wife of ten years and I have a daughter aged 5 whom I am training to be the next video gamer in my family. She enjoys bathing, feeding, and cleaning up after her Nintendogs (I am starting her off gently).
I thank God for my marriage, my daughter, and my hobbies. All of these things keep me going in life.
