Born and raised in San Diego, California true soulful vocalist Brisa Lauren has been singing since the age of 4. Whether at her church, school events, her father's studio, in front of screaming San Diego Padres fans, or American Idol producers , Brisa Lauren is a voice to be heard and a name to be remembered.
She began singing for her fathers record label in 1992 and hasn’t left the microphone since. She join a group called “Kings Kids†where she was able to practice her stage presence performing at Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Disneyland, Christmas on the Prado, and The Del Mar Fair. At age 14 she joined the choir where she became a lead vocalist . She later on at age 17 joined a worship team singing in a small group doing four part harmonies which she came up with and began writing some of the songs they performed. She also began to dance for a hip hop group and created her own dance team in high school where she choreographed all the moves and mixed the music herself, they actually one first place in a competition. Now at age 20 she is signed to a small record label Lokeyon Music where she writes all her songs lyrically.
With amazing stage presence, a beautiful look, writing skills, and dance ability , Brisa Lauren is defiantly born to be an entertainer.
"Besides the love from my Savior Jesus Christ, music is the only thing that keeps me alive and going strong. With out music I would be lost and full of anger. Music got me thorough the roughest times in my life from a broken home, to foster care, to suicide and horrible relationships, music keeps me alive when I say live to sing and sing to live I mean it. If one of my songs can help someone to find peace of mind, or touch there heart then my mission as a singer is complete, besides the Grammy’s, my only dream is to have someone tell me my song helped them like songs have helped me.
