My name is Adelle Stripe. I am a writer, editor, and publishing consultant. I write stories and articles about noisy bands. I write advertising copy and blistering book blurbs. Books are my fetish, I count them in my sleep. Most importantly though, I'm a poet.
My writing has been published all over the net, and in journals and newspapers across the UK. I am also a co-founder of the renegade poetry movement known as The Brutalists...when I'm not writing I like to run around in muddy fields and forget about words as the wind blows through my hair.
Alongside Tony O'Neill & Ben Myers my poems appeared in the acclaimed Brutalist anthology 'Nowhere Fast'. My debut solo collection 'Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid' was published on Blackheath Books in 2008; I will also be contributing to the next issue of Mineshaft Magazine (Brutalism 2:Cheap Thrills)and Dwang on the rather fantastic Tangerine Press in 2009. My new collection 'Cigarettes in Bed' will be out on Blackheath at some point this year.
