Hugh Hefner once said, "Life is too short to live someone elses dreams.".. I couldn't have said it any better..Music always has been and always will be my life.. since as far back as i can remember. My dad, an aspiring dj, is one of the biggest Disco junkies i know..so i grew up with that 4/4 beat since i was a child. I remember playing the multicolored mixtapes and hearing of Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summers, GQ, The Bee Gees, Lipps Inc., Rick James, Michael Jackson, David Bowie...i could go on forever. My uncle played the drums and percussion always interested me, so I picked up the drums and taught myself. I would go to Pawn Shops and buy all kinds of old school drum machines and analog synthesizers and toyed with them endlessly. Suffering from insomnia drove me to stay up during school nights and put together whatever came to my mind. I was amazed at how i could record every instrument and play them back all at once.. like a one man band. The first type of electronic music I heard was Drum and Bass music.. I loved to hear it in my headphones and play along on the drums. From there I discovered techno..such as Frankie Bones, Adam X, Heather Heart. I fell in love with the TB303 and 909/808 beats..I didnt even know i could make beats like that with my equipment...and thats how i started producing electronic music. I wanna thank everyone who has been there for me and supported me...this music is my gift to you.-fERN
