I am a graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelors degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, & Exercise with minors in Biology & Chemistry. Going to college and joining a sorority were two of the best decisions i have ever made and made for, four of the best years of my life. i made the best memories and my best friends during that time.
After working for two years after graduating from college, one year doing what i love and one year for the money, I decided to go back to school to get a 2nd bachelors degree in Nursing so that may I pursue my passion and weakness of caring for and helping people of all kinds. It is funny where life takes you seeing as I always swore I would never be a nurse and was dead set on going to medical school, but I guess the reality is the idea of working three twelves or even part-time sounds much better than two days without sleep. After getting my BSN I plan to go back to school to become a nurse anesthetist or to get my masters in nursing to become a nurse practitioner. So basically my main objective in my life right now is to achieve my goals as in the past I have spent way too much time of my life focusing on people who in the grand scheme of things didn't really matter or never really cared. The hardest lesson I have had to learn in life is that if you are a giving, caring person you have to be careful because people will use that to their advantage and run with it even someone you thought was your true friend since the sixth grade. However, it is a great quality if you find the right people who actually appreciate it.
