"Where its ALWAYS FREE to get in ...and the bands get PAID TO PLAY WHERE'S WEEZY PRODUCTIONS was started with a love of punk, hardcore and metal music. We wanted to see bands and have a drink and dance. We're tired of going to the same boring venues, being overcharged to get in, and paying $10 for a drink. ALSO......We are here to provide bands with local venues in THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY to play at--- And to provide some $$ to the bands for playing.
Currently we are LOOKING FOR VENUES AROUND THE VALLEY
WE MAY HAVE A PLACE IN VAN NUYS AROUND 405 AND ROSCOE....KEEP ALERT....WE WILL LET YOU KNOW
We are always looking for different venues/ bars etc, to host our special events.
We should start booking shows again in mid OCTOBER....STAY TUNED....if you are in a band...hit me up.
Basically, as the promoters, we provide the bands
1. the venue
2. organize the event
3. P.A. and speakers and mics
4. soundperson
5. D.J. / music between bands
6. a percentage of the alcohol sales at the bar
7. a flyer
8 online promotions
9. local promotion / networking.
Like i said, we are trying to keep the shows FREE, but if a band wishes to charge a cover, we can negotiate that.
We are not in this to become a millionare.
I am in this to bring some sort of a decent punk/metal/hardcore music scene to the valley in a 21+ venue. We can keep hosting shows at this venue if everyone gets involved and SUPPORTS THEIR SCENE
