About Me

Hey y'all, thanks for stopping by!
The best way to describe myself and my art would be to say that I'm of deep Southern heritage on both sides, and I spent my adolescence in Los Angeles. Cornbread and kitsch, baby!
I'd say the biggest misconception about me is that I'm some dark, Gothic, brooding horror-loving nut, and...well, I'm just about the opposite, actually. I wear pink nearly every day, am extremely girly, and am unable to sit through horror movies– I didn't even get to the first kill in "Scream". I have no idea why my art leans towards the grotesque, really.
My inspirations over the years have been Ingres, Flannery O'Connor, Alex Proyas, Shag (if I could live anywhere, it would be in a Shag painting), Tennessee Williams, Wednesday Addams, Pee Wee Herman, Gil Elvgren, the Kray Twins, David Lynch...and a bunch of others too numerous to count. Basically, I like to soak up as much as I possibly can in my life– if some of it seeps into my art, great.
IF YOU WANT TO BE MY FRIEND: Um, could you take advantage of the li'l message box and tell me *why* you want to be friends with me? I'm just curious...
Check out my "real" site at
Vegas-Lounge.Net and send me a message anytime, I'd love to hear from you!
