Born and raised in South Carolina from a young age Ive always wanted to sing, but nobody really knew this. I would sing in my room and record myself singing Pat Benetar and Madonna. I got my first debut at a friends wedding and my parents were a little surprised. I made a couple of demos primarly country covers, just in case, and sent one in to a local "beach music" (blues, country, soul) record label. They turned out to be very interested and it worked out great. I made a "real" CD (all covers) worked some local live events and was on a local T.V. station as well as having a couple songs on a local radio station. About a year into it I joined an 80's, female cover, rock band as lead vocals with amazing musicians. We played several local bars for about 2 years til I decided to leave the group. I just wasn't happy, and moved here to Nashville, to pursue the country music scene. I love it here, its hard but I feel like I fit in a little better.
