You can hear the first four tracks from the CD I have made with Adrian Newton (laptop). The tracks are electroacoustic free improvisations. All the sampling is live, and each track is unedited in length and content. In other words, you get what happened on the day.
It's a really exciting way to work - I start with an idea, Adrian samples a bit and as I continue playing, he plays it back and I respond - like playing catch with music, but also like dancing with shadows. He can change the piano sound so it sounds like a prepared piano, so my fingers land on new sounds, like being put in an alien territory without a map.Buy the CD on ebay 3202 4807 2731
