Hi everyone! Ok, let me update this section a bit. I got this page to keep in touch with old friends and sorority sisters(tight grips ladies) and to make new friends in the process! I am married to a wonderful man and we have 2 children. Ah, parenthood, sure has its stressful times, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I never knew I could love someone so much to the point where my heart aches if I don't see them for too long. My children have brought so much happiness to my life and my husband has been my rock through a lot of tough times. You see, my dad passed away very suddenly in 2003, it still feels like it was yesterday... it truly felt like my chest caved in when I heard the priest at the hospital tell me the news...I never thought I could get over such sadness, it was then I understood what a broken heart was, f*ck the love dovey stuff u hear about romantic woes and broken hearts, losing someone so close just like that, that's what a broken heart is. I know God works in mysterious ways and let me just say my relationship with God wasn't the best after my dad passed away, but with time came acceptance and resignation. The sadness is still there, but the happy memories and gratitude for all my dad's sacrifices are also in my heart. I know my dad is resting in peace, looking down on me with a proud smile :) My relationship with God has healed and I have learned the true power of prayer. Wow, talk about the power of prayer...I just went through a very rough patch, u know, one of those episodes when things are really are out of your control and there's nothing else left to do but to pray? I must say, I prayed and prayed and everytime I asked for more faith and the strength to face whatever was going on...Just when I thought my world was coming apart....my life may not be perfect, but God sure loves me :)PRAYING...PRAYING....(09/2008)"All I saw was black, all I felt was rain...I come to you because it's you who knows..you showed me that everything was black because my eyes were closed............ ****Yesterday was a really tough day, if it wasn't for you, I'm not sure I would've gotten over it as quick as I did.
