Kale

Hi. My name is Kale Adams. I am a film director and producer. I am currently directing a film entitled, "The Pick-Up" and was written by Amanda Reyes and Produced by Jake Starkey, and myself. This is an independent film "to the 10th power!" This is a very realistic potrayal and will be a "hard to watch" film based on a true crime event of the 1970's. Even some of our actors like Valerie Manriquez and Mikhail Sebastian (Tarantino/Rodriguez's Planet Terror) had some issues with the script due to it's content. We even had a hard time getting financed because people were afraid to be affiliated/associated with it. As a film director, that was comforting because this will allow me to spare nothing. This is my first theatrical release, so I have to do it right the first time. Although I cannot go into any detail of the story line at this time, I assure you that it will be worth the wait for all of you cinema buffs out there!. We also had an article published on us in a Sirens of Cinema publication. Any promo trailer that we use on myspace.com will be edited for public use. This does feature the voice of Edwin Neal(The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.) He is a childhood hero of mine and a horror movie icon! He was gracious enough to lend a hand for my movie. We were testing a number of things such as film response,2351 kodak mimic,misfire action of 2351 kodak film stock,24 fps action response, and over all sound. This will change very soon.This next one is a trailer for a short film that I actually did about 5 years ago. It was approx a $5000 budget and for the budget, it actually turned out very nice. Good cast,good crew, good story, good times....and scary! It's entitled, "Return to Faifield Street." This film actually brought me to the current project, "The Pick-Up."
