This music, i guess, is called Chiptune.
The way i make it is by using an Old orgional Gameboy (DMG) and using 2 cart's for it - LSDJ & Nanoloop. I sometimes use a Nintendo DS with Electroplankton to create a more ambient effect.
However there are many more ways of making this using other old video game consoles and various tracking programmes etc, you don't just Have to use a gameboy!
I love to do this because it's a way to express myself through another meidum which i've always loved.
I also love trying to push the gameboy to see what i can get out of it.
