About Me

ACTS:
Ryoji Ikeda, Addictive TV, Pierre Bastien, Anna Lange+Louis Andriessen, Optical Machines, Bert Vogels, Bas van Koolwijk/ Gert Jan Prins, Belch Kitchen, Toine Horvers, Anet van de Elzen, Fragmenta, PJ Roggeband, Delius Swarth, A.C.G. Vianen, Freek Lomme, MNK/ Toktek, United C, Olga Mink/ Autonon
Prepare to be surprised by a precision bombing of music, dance, visual arts and literature, spread through the Effenaar. The entire building will be used and all acts will play without pause for a moments breath. On one hand there will be calm moments with poets and visuals, but that can be followed by louder acts, noisy acts and mash ups of recent hits and recent video’s.
The main guest is Japanese computer artist Ryoji Ikeda, who’ll perform his new work “Datamatics 1.0”. Last summer the critics were speechless at the premiere in London’s Tate Modern and only able to mutter some terms like “great”and “extreme minimalism”
The DVJ’s of Addictive TV are reffered to as students of Coldcut and create great danceable mash ups of mainstream hit video’s. Almost every year they win DJ Mag’s 1 VJ’s of the world competition.
Besides all that there’s “schreeuwend koken” by Belch Kitchen, a collaboration between artist Anna Lange and composer Louis Andriessen, the mecano music of Pierre Bastien, modern dance by Fragmenta and United C, spoken word and poetry by Nick Swarth, Freek Lomme and ACG Vianen and much more!
