I came to this forum to do a research; and here I am in touch with friends that I haven't heard from long ago (in one day or even better in 8 hours). I took a break from the NYC madness, and now I am starting to feel that I over did it. As much as I wanted that change, I am not sure if I ever knew the self that I thought I knew. A self buried so deep into collective consciousness. A self that became selfless. A self that became so strange to me that I felt the need to take a step backward in other to jump (to a place that is still a mystery to me).
Our yearning for the real- that "rootical" reality that smells, sounds, and looks like itself- makes it harder to accept the virtual. That virtual that defies time and space. That spooky virtual! Today here it is, giving us back that "real." the freedom to be who we are and how we want to be.
At last, no sellout (until when? I do not pretend to know and I hope it won't be like Omar said "Now you do; now you don't," in reference to Rhythmmagic), has the means of its aspiration.
Hello friends, it is really good to see you again.
