I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have been a freelance writer and music journalist since 1990. Over the years I have written for many different publications from local and regional papers to national magazines. Some of the places my work has appeared, or continues to appear, are Billboard, No Depression, Columbia Free Times, Charleston's Free Time, Country Standard Time, The Lexington Chronicle, Lexington Life, West Metro Life, Northeast Life, Palmetto Parent, Augusta Metro Parent, Carolina Homes & Interiors, Southeast Performer, Chronicmagazine.com, Popmatters.com.... .. .. ..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I've put up this profile to network with bands, live music venues, and musicians in my general region of the Carolinas and Georgia, since I'll probably write about you sometime, somewhere. I've also begun adding profiles of anyone I've written about, interviewed, or otherwise covered in the past--it's a long list. I've also had the pleasure--and pain--of rediscovering some old friends here.
If you're not in one of those categories and you send a friend request, I'll probably deny it--nothing personal. If you're from outside the tri-state area but you're playing here soon, send an email to that effect along with a friend request.

Thanks for visiting, for more of my original work not available anywhere else, check out my main blog, Music That Matters
