About Me

I was 14 years old and just got my first shit guitar. It was a black and white colored Strat shaped Lotus. A few weeks later I met who I didn't know at the time would become my best friend for like forever. The year was 1987 we began by not making any sense with our guitars. They were not tuned, had shit Gorilla practice amps and no teacher what so ever. After a while we finally learned how to tune and how to play chords. That when the fun began. We had hopes of becoming bad asses like those that we idolized. We loved metal, had long hair, ripped jeans, and I wore eyeliner and lipstick... still do. Eventually a I strayed into the Death scene and he went towards the Blues scene, so we never started a band. He loved Stevie Ray Vaughn and I loved Chuck Schuldiner who started the Tampa bay Death Metal scene. Oddly enough both our heros died young R. I. P. Chuck Schuldiner was everything to me. The man had the baddest riffs and great lyrics and vocals as well. I was 15 years old when I went to my first show. I was so excited because I was going to see Chuck pull it off on stage. And by that I mean music not his clothes. Well I got there and Tempest Fugit opened followed by Malevolent Creation, Cynic and Dark Angel. Death never made it. I was so disappointed but have to say that still it was and incredible show. Now for the next few year I began to also turn my head towards the Shoe-gazing scene. That Swirling Guitar sound just made me drunk with chills, I began lusting for more, something different. I still love Death to this day so don't for a moment think that I am a Poseur. So one night or shall I say very early morning my buddy and I decided to drop (if you know what I mean) began painting my walls black with nothing but rags and high gloss latex paint. "Don't ever do this to your walls" He wanted my to hear an album that he swore that I would love, so I said go for it. The album "DISINTEGRATION by The Cure" I went instantly mad with fever and needed The Cure to live. I never heard such lush sounds and emotional lyrics. I was captured and made bitch right away. Had to have everything they had ever released. Well at least what I could get in the U.S Now a few months laster I bought an album entitled "VIOLATOR by Depeche Mode" I now had two new heros to the equation. My Holy Trinity was complete. I lived for three artist Chuck Schuldiner, Robert Smith and Martin Gore. Years passed and I never really did nothing more than jam with a few friends, got wasted all the time and did a lot of fishing. Eventually I did join a band called Station Ground out of Lake Worth, Florida. ( The band still exist i have them on my friends list.) I had so much fun and at the same time it bored me because It wasn't my music that we were playing. Well we did do one song called Yesterday that wrote the music for when I was 16 years old but that doesn't really count. Still it was a great experience. Eventually I moved to Port Saint Lucie , Florida. I got a full time job, bought a house and hated my life. I had to do something before I snapped, I had to do something fast. So I packed my bags and jumped on the first bus headed toward Austin, Texas. Here I am now, it's been 8 weeks and Im with Alexis Grimaldo all over again. Where do I go from here? I don't know really but one thing is certain Im never gonna leave the music again. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
