Payne's BBQ was established in April of 1972 by the late Horton Payne, however the tradition of serving up the some of the "BEST" Que lives on.Payne's is known for our original coleslaw and bbq sauce that is like no other, once added to a chop shoulder or smoked sausage sandwich you are sure to come back for more. We have graced the front pages of Commercial Appeal throughout the years, been featured in magazines such as Bon Appetit, Cooking Light,1000 places too see before you die and many other newspapers and publications. Payne's appreciates and values our customers old/new, and would like to say thanks for continuing to patronize our establishment.
